CRISPR-Cas9 technology has revolutionized personalized gene therapy by enabling precise genome editing. This paper explores the advancements in CRISPR-Cas9 applications for treating genetic disorders, focusing on its potential to tailor therapies to individual genetic profiles. However, the rapid development of this technology raises significant ethical concerns, including issues of consent, equity, and the potential for misuse. We examine these ethical challenges and discuss the need for regulatory frameworks to ensure responsible use of CRISPR-Cas9 in clinical settings.
