Abstract

Cancer remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with various factors contributing to its onset and progression. Among these, lifestyle choices play a significant role in influencing cancer risk. This study explores how dietary habits, physical activity, smoking, alcohol consumption, and environmental factors affect cancer susceptibility. It highlights the role of preventive measures through lifestyle modifications and emphasizes the need for public health interventions. Data from several studies conducted in Pakistan are analyzed to provide insights into the specific lifestyle factors prevalent in the region and their connection to cancer incidence. The paper calls for a multi-faceted approach to cancer prevention, involving education, policy changes, and community-based initiatives.
